Jeni Kahanu
With over 30 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education, Jeni Kahanu brings a profound understanding of child development to every space she designs. Her philosophy is built on the belief that a child's environment is a critical "third teacher," shaping their learning, creativity, and well-being.
Jeni's passion for creating optimal learning environments led her to successfully design and launch one of Hawaii's pioneering Montessori preschools and decades of teaching experience of toddlers at the Children's House, one of Hawaii's longest running preschools spanning over 60 years. Her hands-on experience and deep-rooted knowledge form the foundation of our child-centered design approach.

- A 30-minute in-person or video walkthrough of your proposed space followed by a 60-minute intake meeting to discuss your goals and vision.
- Personalized recommendations for layout, organization, and zoning based on your current setup, and new ideas .
- Curated suggestions for age-appropriate toys, materials, and furniture.
- A follow-up summary email with key takeaways and links.
The Full Design Service
Our comprehensive blueprint service, empowering you to build and assemble a professionally designed playroom at your own pace.
- Includes everything in the Consultation, plus:
- Detailed 2D floor plan with furniture layout and designated play zones.
- A curated mood board establishing the room's aesthetic.
- A complete shopping list with direct links to furniture, storage, and decor.
- Two rounds of revisions to perfect the design.
The Custom Installation
Our white-glove, all-inclusive service. We handle everything from design to full installation, creating a ready-to-enjoy, fully-furnished playroom.
- Includes everything in the Full Design Service, plus:
- Procurement of all furniture and materials.
- Full on-site assembly (large furniture via TaskRabbit*), installation, and styling.
- Art and material setup (printing, taping, arranging).
- The final reveal of your completed, magical space.
